Class trips

JANUARY 7, 2010. Pickup at St. Mary’s guard shack at 9:20 am. Drive to Ride The Ducks – San Francisco Duck Tours 2766 Taylor Street (corner of Jefferson & Taylor) at Fisherman’s Wharf .ph. 415-922-2425. Pickup at Duck Tours at 12:15 pm to return to St. Marys by 1 pm.

JANUARY 14, 2010. Pickup at St. Mary’s guard shack at 9:20 am. Arrive at 10:30 at Sonoma Visitors Bureau (453 1st st. east )for welcome talk and press packets then walk to the Sonoma Mission for a 10:45 tour. At 11:15, we’ll get a walking tour of other historic properties on the square. Around 12:15 we plan to meet for lunch at the historic Maysonnave House http://www.sonomaleague.org/maysonnave.html for a talk by author and travel journalist Karen Misuraca on the importance of web design, marketing, developing a niche and guidebook writing. At 1:15 we will wrap things up and leave for a tour of Cline Cellars (the site of the original Sonoma Mission) http://www.clinecellars.com/on our way home to Moraga. Return to St. Mary’s by 3 pm.

JANUARY 21, 2010.  Pickup at 9:20 am at St. Mary’s guard shack. Drive to Redwood Regional Park 7867 Redwood Road in Oakland for llama trek and photography class. Pickup at 12:45 pm for return to St. Mary’s by 1 pm.

JANUARY 28, 2010. Pickup at 9:20 am at St. Mary’s guard shack. Drive to Half Moon Bay for tour of this charming coastal town, including the popular Farmer John’s Farm http://www.farmerjohnspumpkins.com/and the Montara Point Lighthouse http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=534. Pickup at 1:30 pm for return to St. Mary’s by 3 pm.
